Dhurandhar Advance Booking Box Office: Ranveer Singh’s film struggles to build momentum, ranks as the 6th highest advance of 2025 in national chains.

Dhurandhar is heading into release day with little to no momentum, and with sales concentrated mainly in major centres—which usually post stronger advance bookings—the film faces an uphill battle to post higher numbers tomorrow.

The film is wrapping up its pre-sales on a weak note, with national chains selling around 120K tickets for Day 1. On the last day of advance booking, ticket sales fell below 50K across major chains. In total, the Day 1 advance stands at roughly Rs. 5 crore nett, which is significantly below expectations.

Interestingly, Sunday started on a promising note, suggesting the possibility of crossing 200K tickets in the national chains. While even that number wouldn’t have been extraordinary, it would at least have provided a base for the film to build on. A few smaller chains also registered early traction. But the Ranveer Singh–led film couldn’t sustain that early surge—likely driven by block bookings—and organic sales failed to keep pace. As a result, it is ending pre-sales at nearly half of what seemed achievable just a few days ago.

What’s more concerning than the low numbers is the complete lack of momentum. Films with modest advances but strong day-before or day-of movement often outperform their booking figures. But Dhurandhar’s flat trend, coupled with a heavier reliance on big-city sales, leaves very little room for a turnaround. The film’s long runtime adds to the challenges and may further impact walk-ins on a working weekday.

With the current trajectory, Dhurandhar is heading toward a low-to-mid teens opening. However, if the film finds acceptance among audiences, there remains a possibility of stronger collections through better occupancy in late evening and night shows.
